Job Overview
Cyborts is seeking a motivated SOC Intern to gain hands on experience in Microsoft Sentinel and modern Security Operations Center (SOC) operations. This internship provides practical exposure to threat monitoring, incident investigation, threat hunting, and cloud security using Microsoft security technologies.
Responsibilities
- Monitor security alerts using Microsoft Sentinel.
- Investigate and triage security incidents.
- Perform threat hunting using KQL queries.
- Analyze security logs from multiple data sources.
- Create and tune Analytics Rules.
- Build and test Automation Playbooks.
- Map detections to the MITRE ATT&CK framework.
- Document incidents and remediation actions.
- Assist with security monitoring and reporting.
- Learn SOC best practices and incident response workflows.
Requirements
- Basic knowledge of cybersecurity concepts.
- Familiarity with Windows, networking, and Microsoft Azure is a plus.
- Understanding of SIEM concepts is preferred.
- Willingness to learn Microsoft Sentinel and KQL.
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
- Good written and verbal communication.
